Sure, Eli's Cheesecake is an experience of taste. But when you serve it at home, make it just as pleasing to the eyes. Below are some suggestions for creating beautiful plate decorations.

Original Plain Cheesecake: Place slice of cake in middle of plate. Squeeze alternating circles of raspberry and chocolate sauces around 3/4 of the plate. Place a dollup of fruit (strawberry, raspberry, cherry pie filling or preserves) on top of slice so it flows into sides. Place chocolate candy on top.

Mud Pie: Place slice of cake in middle of plate. Zigzag chocolate sauces on plate randomly up to rim of plate. Place slice of cake in center of plate. Decorate with chocolate candy on top.

Key Lime Cheesecake:
Squeeze small pools of key lime sauce on plate. Squeeze drops of raspberry sauce on top of key lime sauce. Place slice of cake in middle of plate. Bunch 2 or 3 berries around cake. Decorate with 2 thin slices of starfruit on top of cake. You may substitute starfruit with raspberries, thinly sliced kiwi, or a twist of lime.

Chocolate Caramel Pecan: Place slice of cake in center of plate. Squeeze a curved teardrop shape of chocolate sauce on left side of slice. Fill in the shape with more chocolate sauce. Repeat with caramel sauce on right side. Sprinkle pecans on teardrop puddles of sauce. Dust cocoa powder on plate. Decorate with chocolate candy on top.

Below are some important tips that we want to share with you:

  • For the dessert sauces used in the plate decorations, you can use sundae toppings (i.e. Smucker's Sundae Topping).
  • Any of the designs above can use different colors or flavors of sauces. For example, if you cannot find a raspberry sauce, you can substitute with a strawberry sauce.
  • If the chocolate candies are too difficult to find, you can substitute with pirouette cookies, chocolate shavings or fruit garnishes.
