Mini Pies make the perfect garnish for a cocktail, shake or smoothie! We balanced a mini Apple Pie on two metal chopsticks resting on the rim of an Appletini. Or try Eli’s Mini Pumpkin Pie on the rim of a Pumpkintini:
Pumpkintini
1 1/2 ounces rum (your favorite spiced rum or pumpkin spice flavored rum)
3 tablespoons pumpkin pie filling (or use 3 tablespoons canned pureed pumpkin and 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice)
1/2 ounce half-and-half or heavy cream
Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and strain into a martini glass. Optional: dip the rim of the glass into the prepared cocktail and then dip the rim into crushed graham cracker crumbs before pouring.
